It's ya boi, Blade. Giving you some insights on how to farm MVP's using Champs.

As you know, all of the MVPs of our server had their HP's boosted to x20 (not common for servers, but this is actually a nice change so as not everything is just one hit asura -- although when you build your champ properly, most of the low-end MVP's should be one-hit-delete)

Let's start off with some basic stats!

STR:

Main source of your ATK. You can go all out and max this to 255 although the best idea is to come as close to 255 but taking into account the extra stats you have-- and make sure the sum of your base STR and bonus STR is a multiple of 10 -- for efficiency of course!

AGI:

Here comes the tricky bit. Pump AGI until you get close to 197 ASPD. It doesn't necessarily have to reach 197, but the closer you are to 197 the less animation delay you would experience. (That small time between your Dangerous Soul Collect - Explosion Spirits - Dangerous Soul Collect casts).

You can try it out yourself and check out the difference between low ASPD Asura Strike preparation versus high ASPD Asura Strike preparation, hell of a big difference!

VIT:

Gotta put in some VIT so as to survive most of the MVP hits. You can opt not to put anything into this stat if you're gonna use cheese strat mvp killing (more on that later)

Note: A strategy is defined as a Cheese strat if it relies solely on the element of surprise / unpreparedness of the opponent to work

INT:

Take note that there is a cap on SP as far as Asura Strike damage calculation goes - 15K SP cap. Pump up some INT until you get some high values of SP. Doesn't necessarily have to reach 15k SP for now, but the higher it is, the better.

DEX:

We're actually just after for a 150 DEX total (meaning the sum of both the base and bonus), so that we don't have any cast animation.

Do note that you can actually get away with just 140 or 145 total DEX, minimal to negligible cast animation.

LUK:

Any extra stats that you haven't spent yet, just put it on here!

Added status resistance

Maybe 1 point of perfect dodge

Just some value for your remaining stat points.

Newbie -

Recommended Cards -

Mantis Card - +3 STR (if you're using acolyte medals, you'll be getting a total of +10 Bonus STR -- which is quite a plus! Remember that we want our STR to be divisible by 10)

Ifrit Card - if you think the +3 STR won't help you much-- or maybe won't really contribute to you reaching a rounded off value of your strength that is divisible by 10, try to use this one for flat ATK bonus.

Weapon

High-end -

Shining Claws (VIP Weapon)

3x Abysmal Knight * 1x Turtle General | Damage Calculation: AKC = 1.75x , TGC = 1.20x --- 1.75 * 1.20 = 2.10x damage to MVP

2x Abysmal Knight * 2x Turtle General | Damage Calculation: AKC = 1.50x , TGC = 1.40x --- 1.50 * 1.40 = 2.10x damage to MVP

CHEESE STRAT:

Asura Strike an MVP then @warp to the same map to reset the aggro of the MVP (best used versus Ifrit to avoid getting stripped)

ETC:

ATK*(8 + SP/10) + 1000 -> Damage Calculation for Asura Strike

Card Calculations / Overall Damage Boost Calculation: [for weapon]

Do note that the same cards stack ADDITIVELY, while different cards stack MULTIPLICATIVELY

Might need to check up on that Race/Element/Size/Boss/Normal multipliers!

Examples:

2 Turtle General Cards = 1.2x + 1.2x = 1.4x damage on ALL enemies

2 Abysmal Knight Cards = 1.25x + 1.25x = 1.5x damage on MVP monsters

2x Skeleton Worker Card = 1.15x + 1.15x = 1.3x damage on MEDIUM sized monster

2x Hydra = 1.2x + 1.2x = 1.4x damage on DEMI-HUMAN race

PLEASE DONT DO THIS:

4x Turtle General Card = 1.2x + 1.2x + 1.2x + 1.2x = 1.8x damage on ALL enemies

THIS IS MORE FEASIBLE:

4x Abysmal Knight Card = 1.25x + 1.25x + 1.25x +1.25x = 2.00x damage on MVP monsters (this is if you don't have any Turtle general card)

3x Absymal Knight Card + 1x SIZE Card (Desert Wolf / Skeleton Worker / Minorous) = 1.75x * 1.15x = 2.0125x damage on MVP monsters w/ corresponding size (a little more damage with your Asura Strike)

STR:
